A decidedly pregnant Kate Middleton was snapped by paparazzi at a private Caribbean resort and the photos have been published in an Italian gossip magazine and posted online by an American website.
The 'baby bump' bikini shots are in no way as dramatic as the uncensored topless photos both media outlets published in September, but palace insiders are outraged, nonetheless.
According to an article published by ABC News on Feb. 13, the photos were taken while the royal couple were vacationing at a very pricey, but not very private (apparently) resort as the princess and her husband were enjoying some sun and fun on the beach.
As scandalous photos go, this is pretty dry stuff. If anything, it shows Kate Middleton is progressing well in her pregnancy, displaying a still modest midriff, and looking very healthy and happy with her husband as they await the birth of the future King of England.
Royal PR flacks have duly noted their outrage, however, telling ABC, "We are disappointed that photographs of the duke and duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas. This is a clear breach of the couple’s right to privacy."
Chi Magazine is the gossip sheet which chose to weather a storm of lawsuits over the Kate Middleton topless photos published in print. And Egotastic! posted them online from New York City just for kicks.
Both are back for a second bite at the apple.
