Kate Middleton and Prince William disagree on royal baby’s gender

Like most expectant parents, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge surely just want a healthy baby. But on March 17, People reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton both have personal preferences on their unborn child's gender—and they’re not on the same page.

The royal couple turned up for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Aldershot, where Kate revealed she'd like to have a boy, while Prince William would prefer a baby girl. The couple remain undecided on baby names.

Last week, the Duchess may have dropped a major clue regarding the baby’s sex while chatting with fans. According to Us Weekly, when a well wisher handed her a teddy bear, Kate reportedly said, "Thank you, I’ll take that for my d..." then abruptly stopped herself.

When a witness asked her, “You were going to say daughter weren't you?” Kate quickly responded, “No, we don't know. We're not telling."

Middleton, who is five months pregnant, is due to give birth in July. The royal baby will be third in line to the British throne.
