Kate Hudson and her fiance, Matthew Bellamy, have welcomed a baby boy! Most likely a surprise to the couple, who were convinced their baby was going to be a girl despite not having an ultrasound to prove such, they are happily a family of four.
"The actress, 32, welcomed a 'healthy baby boy' on Saturday in Los Angeles," Hudson's rep tells PEOPLE.
There have been no further details about the baby's name, weight, or time of arrival, but the important thing is that everyone is doing well. This is Hudson second child, she has son, Ryder, 7.5, with her ex, Chris Robinson. Her romance with Muse front man, Bellamy, has been rather fast, and the couple surprisingly became pregnant. Hudson herself admitted that the pregnancy was not planned.
Months after their happy baby news was announced, Hudson visited the Today Show to promote her film, Something Borrowed. It was there, sitting across from Matt Lauer, that she showed off her lovely engagement ring and announced that she would be tying the knot... sometime after the baby was born.
