Kate Hudson is not only the face of Ann Taylor, having just recently signed for her second season, but the 33-year-old actress has also become a fashion designer, debuting a new summer line this coming May, according to “Women’s Wear Daily”, Jan. 24, becoming another celebrity branding their name.
Collaborating with Ann Taylor’s creative director Lisa Axelson, Kate Hudson is making a mark in the fashion world as a guest designer on a capsule collection for summer debuting in May that “reinterprets Kate’s red carpet style for everyday occasions.”
The daughter of Goldie Hawn described her entrance into fashion during a current interview in “Women’s Wear Daily”.
Working with Ann Taylor has been a great creative experience, and there is a really wonderful connection. "Ann Taylor is great at creating iconic wardrobe staples and updating them season after season. I love that Lisa Axelson is designing clothes for real women.
Kate Hudson’s spring campaign for her summer capsule collection with Ann Taylor previews in February with the fashion selling at Ann Taylor Stores in May, which can be found on Long Island in the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City and on Northern Boulevard in Manhasset.
