Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy's confirmed engagement [video & photos]
Kate Hudson has confirmed that she and Matthew Bellamy are officially engaged. The "How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days" star appeared on April 27, 2011's "Today Show," where she revealed that she is engaged to be married according to Gossip Cop reports.
"Today" host Matt Lauer outed Hudson's secret after he spotted the actress sporting a hefty diamond engagement ring during the interview.
"Kate Hudson is engaged to Matthew Bellamy. Wonderful news I wish her happiness. Kate is one of my favorite actress'. I hope she will stay settled down for her childrens sake, she has been a bit of a wild,
free spirit since her first marriage failed one Cincinnati fan tweeted after hearing about Kate's news.
Hudson revealed that she and future husband Matthew Bellamy haven't really been announcing their news yet, they had been waiting for people to notice. Kate also stated that the engagement had just taken place only last week.
Kate and Matthew announced back in January that they were expecting a child together.The new bundle will be Kate Hudson's second child .
Hudson was previously married to Black Crowes musician Chris Robinson with which she share a 7-year old son Ryder.
Without giving up too many details on her second marriage proposal, Kate did share that it was a "very sweet,, very romantic, proposal.
Kate also took a little time to plug her latest chick flick. Hudson's newest romantic comedy "Something Borrowed " will open in Cincinnati theaters on May 6, 2011.
