It looks like Kate Gosselin is getting another extension on her 15 minutes of fame. On Feb. 14, Us Weekly reported that the reality TV mom of eight has been tapped to appear on the ABC reality show “Celebrity Wife Swap.” She’ll be swapping lives with her “Dancing with the Stars” co-star, former Playmate Kendra Wilkinson.
Kate and Kendra’s lives couldn’t be more different. While Kendra will relocate to rural Pennsylvania to be a single mom to Kate’s eight kids, Kate will shack up with Kendra’s husband, Hank Baskett, and three-year old son. No word yet if Kate’s ex husband, Jon Gosselin, will stop by his old homestead while Kendra’s there.
Meanwhile, if Kendra needs some tips on how to get eight kids out the door on a school morning, she may want to check out Kate Gosselin’s new “Adventures With My 8” blog on The Stir. Kate was famously fired from a previous blogging gig Coubin Cabin last year, when CEO Scott Kluth announced: “Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at Coupon Cabin.”
Perhaps reality TV is a better match for her.
