Kate Gosselin had a frank conversation about her life after reality TV on Thursday. The entertainer has been working the press over the past couple of weeks talking about her life after a reality show and it seems that her financial situation intrigues fans more than anything. Chatting with Bethenny Frankel, the star revealed she doesn't have a lot of money now because she is saving for her children to go to college.
"The majority of what we made, I, personally took and put in a college fund for (the kids) because they will go to college," said Kate Gosselin on the Bethenny Show. "So I use coupons, we don't wear top brands. Those things to me really aren't overly important, but college, school and their house, where they live is important."
The star appeared to skirt the issue at the beginning of the conversation, but as Bethenny Frankel pointed out, she too was a reality star at one point and knows there is money for being a star. Offering a platform to reveal details about her financial situation without judging, Gosselin was able to share details she hasn't really offered before. Pointing out that she was expecting eight kids to go to college and it was her responsibility to save made plenty of sense to the fans.
