Kate Gosselin has told VANITY FAIR she believes her children miss her when she’s not around. The mother of eight sat down with the prestige magazine to comment on her very public divorce with former partner Jon Gosselin, who was recently thought to be the world’s most hated celebrity father.
The blonde mother told the magazine she believes her children are struggling with the life change and are acting out as a way of trying to make new sense of their post-divorce life. The mom went on to say she feels her children are missing her when they are with father Jon.
The interview comes hot off the heels of news that Americans have grown tired of the Gosselin's.
Recent footage of the famous family show the stressed parents separately trying to calm their upset and misbehaving children.
The reality star, who featured on the popular TLC program Jon and Kate, Plus 8 with their eight children, claims the kids are ‘upset’ because they are not allowed to continue filming the show, something father Jon objected to last month.
Said Kate, “Over the weekend I told the kids that we’re not filming at this point. And actually, times eight, there was wailing and sobbing. They love our crew, they love the interaction, and they love the events. There is nothing harmful about it. They are angry.”
In a snipet with The Insider yesterday, Jon Gosselin claimed his daughters would benefit from spending less time with Kate.
The controversial father said, “I see traits in Kate, bad traits, coming through in my daughters and now in my young daughter too. It’s all drama, drama, drama.’

And, if you are so concerned, get rid of the NYC apartment and move your little self BACK to where your kids are! Kate sure manages to have HER business contacts but has not removed herself from being close to the kids. And, Jon, maybe if you had not reacted so swiftly and negatively to having your kids on TV, THEY would not be so angry and acting out! Better take a long, hard look at YOUR actions before you have the nerve to critize Kate! The streets I grew up on in Baltimore that kind of crap would have got your butt kick twelve ways from Sunday. I am amazed that anyone stll sticks up for this little punk, yes calling some one a punk would have got your butt kicked to0 but in this case the shoe fits. What a little jerk! So will this be his excuse for not hanging out with the girls because they act too much like their mom? Hell someone take the boys away from him before they become spindless little attention hogs who blame everyone else for their shortcomings like dear old dad.
I have a few children. I can see in them personality traits that they were born with. Sure, some children are influenced by their surroundings but this douche takes the cake saying his girls have bad traits because of their mother. If I were him, I'd be pleased that my children had their mother as a roll model. She is strong, knows herself and that's 100% more than I can say for Mr. Sponge, I must be Jewish because I hang with Jewish people.
This article is not accurate. Kate also said the KIDS MISS JON TOO. Some of us follow this story carefully and have actually read the Vanity Fair article.

This article is misleading and badly written.You've grabbed snippets of other articles and strung them together in a biased fashion. Shame on you.
They are both idiots and are both damaging their kids. Jon's a fool, Kate's a Machavellian harpie. Why people pick sides is beyone me. I was a divorced single mother with a philandering husband and I don't feel the need to protect a greedy grifter like Kate Gosselin just because she's a woman. Why are people so myopic? It's the kids who are in trouble. Living in the Truman Show without question is damaging... unfortunately the damage will start to manifest long after the show is over.. in their teens and early 20s when they are no longer cute or tabloid fooder.
Jon is a complete tool who will have lots of time to think about his deplorable behavior when he's a lonely old man, perhaps sitting in a jail cell or better yet, homeless because of all the things he has done to his kids and their mother.
Will this guy ever GROW UP and SHUT UP!?

Kates drama is this guys serious! And whats he been doing/causing!! He is so clueless as to his own behavior. I also think he needs to realize that he has young girls and that some sort of drama/emotion is totally normal.
