Fresh off her divorce, Kate Gosselin flaunts her sexy new blonde hair extensions on the latest cover of People magazine.
“It’s good to have hair again,” says Gosselin, 34. “I never thought I’d have short hair for as long as I did. I feel like this is a fresh start, a fresh me, a fresh life… I am now Kate Clean Slate.”
Kate, whose divorce from ex Jon Gosselin was finalized in December 2009, is kicking off the new year with a new look and a new attitude.
“I’m rebuilding,” she says. “There’s no option for this not to be a good year. Now I get to start over with a new self and new goals.”
KATE WORKS OUT DAILY
Looking at Kate's slim figure, it's hard to believe she's the mother of eight young children whose lives were chronicled on the ill-fated reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8.
Raising 8 kids and managing a household as a divorced mom is challenging, but Gosselin always makes time to pamper herself. 
Kate, who received a free tummy tuck for starring on her tv show, eats lots of salads and works out on the treadmill or elliptical trainer for an hour every day.
She also gets a spa treatment once a month and goes to regular tanning sessions.
"Once a month I take myself to the spa to get a massage and pedicure," Gosselin said recently. " I do still feel guilty, but I am a better and healthier mother for doing it."
She adds: "I also try to get on the treadmill at least once a day, so I can work out and get some 'me' time."
HER HAIRDO TOOK 20 HOURS!
Shockingly, putting extensions into Kate's hair took almost 20 hours! Celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson, who has coifed the tresses of Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway, spent nearly 20 hours last week adding hundreds of extensions to Gosselin’s short, spike blonde hair. 
“Bonding extensions to those little hairs really took time," Gibson tells People. "But in all those hours, she didn’t complain once."
Ted adds: "She was so open to whatever I suggested, and willing to try just about anything.”
Despite some initial reservations about changing her signature short hairdo, Kate is ecstatic with her new look.
“I know this will be more upkeep than my old look, but I’m ready for it," she says.
She adds: "I’m just grateful I don’t have to go through the awkward growing-out process of short hair. I get criticized for everything I do enough as it is!”

It amazes me at the attention this person gets. All the serious on goings in the world, the wars, unemployment, loss of homes and she makes the cover of a magazine. How sad....my thoughts and prayers to her children who don't care what her hair looks like...really.
As a man, i can say she looks way better with the long hair. Its no secret guys like long hair. But at the end of the day, she's psycho, as are most of those so-called reality tv stars.

I love Kate's new do!! I also love Kate's inner strength in spite of all of the trash talkers & her lazy, cheating husband who doesn't care about his kids' feelings at all! Trash talkers just want to break others down & take delight in seeing others depressed & curled up in a ball crying somewhere. You're just hatin'. Reality personalities have just as much right to have fame & money as any of those singers who were simply born with a gift & begin to make millions of dollars at 14 years of age & up. Some are younger than that & have not ever worked a real job as Kate has. Unless every kid on TV is being exploited, I do NOT believe that Kate is exploiting her kids.
Anything ...even bald would be better then that hair she was sp[orting before. Who was watching the kids while "Super Mom " was having 20 hours of hair done. I bet the Nannies or Jon. Neither one doing anything right of course, by Kate's standards. Jon should have left years ago...his only mistake was leaving the kids with that wicked woman.
Good for Kate that she is trying to do something to boost her self esteem... but the stylist who worked on her hair did a crappy job, the extensions are a different colour from her hair and you can tell where her hair ends and begins even if you never knew her hair style before.

Obviously, I'm just as much a victim of all these phony fame whores as everyone else since I'm taking the time to comment, but dang! We all created a monster when they gave her a tv show and we all started watching it. Poor kids. Hope they don't grow up all dysfunctional, depressed and on drugs, etc.

I think she looked unapproachable before. Almost like a robot. Now her hairstyle appears more carefree; she appears much more relaxed and laid back. Totally non-robot.

depends on the hair extentions and shes a white girl it didnt hurt us white girls are lucky we dont go threw pain with hair extentions. you can wash and dry them like normal hair. Some people have clip in and those are super easy for everyday use
She looks like the girl from the show "The Game" It looks better than the shorter hairstyle. I agree she needs to fo cus more on her kids and not so much on herself. She is a mom of 8 and Jon doesn't get the dad of the year award for abandoning his family. I don't care how bad Kate is when you have that many kids you have to stay!!!!
if you have no money ,no job how do you do your hairand pay for others to care for your kids. people are out of work and she spends like it was nothing. as far as john is concerned he is a low live just like his x..... they need to get a job and quit jumping in front of cameras....... i hope they have not spent the kids money................ since kate put it away she can take it ou. im glad i dont have to see them on tv they make me sick.... everything going on in the world, you would think the media would back off and report something different
i think kate did that just to make herself feel better after what happened, she might have been in a lot of stress of course, being alone with 8 kids its very hard soo keep it up kate its good to move on
