Kate Gosselin says her children miss being filmed
The View creator and co-host Barbara Walters selected Kate Gosselin as one of her "10 Most Fascinating People of 2009". During her "10 Most Fascinating People of 2009" interview, Kate Gosselin, who guest hosted The View back in October, told Barbara Walters that her eight children miss the Jon & Kate Plus 8 camera crew and cried when they found out their show was over.
"They cried in the van on the way home the other day," said Kate Gosselin when Barbara Walters asked a probing question about how the children are coping. "I finally admitted it to them. They kept asking: 'Where's the camera crew? We miss them,' and I said 'Our show is over.' Eight sobbing kids driving home from school."
Kate Gosselin's estranged husband Jon Gosselin demanded that Jon & Kate Plus Eight cease production earlier this year after he split from his wife and then developed a sudden concern about the potential exploitation factor of putting his children on television 24 hours a day.

If I had subjected my kids to reality TV and they were reacting like this, I would be working with a therapist not talking to Barbara Walters. Kate is a pin-headed, greedy, narcissist who uses those precious children to grab at her dreams of wealth and fame.
I wish someone would ask Kate "Do the kids miss all the grandparents, family and old friends you have removed from their lives?" She is only concerned with the money-making aspect of having those multiples.
Fascinating? no repulsive.

Kate is telling the media this in hopes of another reality show offer.
Kate will do everything she can to get these eight little money machines back into the limelight, because that is HER opportunity for her pseudo-fame.

For the record Kate said, "The kids miss the camera CREW", the Kids wanted to know "Where are the camera CREW". You people who spout this venom all the time have zero kindness in you.

Kate, get a job and give the kids what they need most. A NORMAL LIFE. Believe it or not there are many families with 8 or more kids and who manage just fine.
She is so full of excrement. An obvious marketing ploy to dispel rumors that it was hurting the kids - also an effort to land a new TV deal. Go away hag and try being a PARENT for once.

I am sure they were friends, and like I said it was consistant to a schedule for them. There is nothing wrong for Kate to comment on that. She can't talk about Jon and family relationships. She talks about what was already public.
I think she is a great mom.

I could see how they miss the camera crew themselves--they were stable figures in the childrens lives, their only "outside family" once Aunt Jodi & Uncle Kevin were out of the picture. Totally normal for them to be attached. I doubt they actually understand the show/filming and miss being on TV though.

I have an excellent idea! TLC can hire Kate! She can probably be a great asset at the production company, make money, and the children can maintain their relationship with their "extended" family! She had great ideas and made the show. And they are absolutely in her corner. I try to watch other "family" shows and they are just not the same. Jon is really embarrassing and should be out of the picture.
I have another great idea - please ban Jon and Kate from celebrity status until the children are 18!!!! Kate - please - the kids miss the attention of the camera crew. The only time you are with them is when you are on camera or on a field trip with them. I am sure the children miss the crew's attention to them. Jon - thank you for taking those children off the air. And TLC - if you put the children back on TLC - you have lost me as a viewer for sure! You have some nice shows - keep it at that - don't let Kate or the children back on the air!!!!
Kate's still up to her same ole tricks - using any excuse she can think of to get people to feel sorry for her so she can get her kids back on TV. Oh yeah, Kate, I'm sure that all 8 kids cried in unison on their way home. As usual, she just wants her "heavenly" life and most of all, money, back. I wonder what excuse she'll think of next?
Boo effing hoo that the kids miss the camera crew! Of course they will miss them! They have been around them since they were little. Anyone misses anything they are used to. They will get over it. I do not feel sorry for Kate.
Of course the kids will be sad about not having the camera crew around. Their parents are getting a divorce, this alone is rattling enough for a child, add into the mix more change, and the result is unhappy children. Typical emotional response. There is no need to tear apart the parents and criticize and judge their actions further.
In response to anyone who reminds us that the children don't miss their grandparents, etc...She probably felt that it was a good idea to alienate from her parents...she must have had a reson to do so....NONE of us truly know why....so....UNTIL WE DO...I say LEAVE HER ALONE...from what I have seen of her on the t.v., she is doing a decent job of raising her children. Need I remind EVERYONE...she has 8 of them...not an easy task to raise just 1!!! GOD BLESS you Kate...atleast now your children have the option of going to college!!
