Kate Gosselin has her hands full even though her set of sextuplets are long past the terrible twos. These days, the 38- year-old reality TV mom seems to be dealing with the terrible teens.
On January 8, People magazine posted excerpts of an interview with Gosselin’s 13-year-old twins Mady and Cara Gosselin, and it seems the girls are talking smack about their mom.
Saying their mom is “so annoying,” the twins complained that she gets under their skin by saying words like “’spensive” instead of “expensive.”
According to Yahoo Celebrity, Cara Gossslin said her mom is “annoying on purpose. She does it to bother us." The girls also dissed their mom’s crop top outfit, calling it “gross” and “the lamest thing I have ever seen.”
Kate wasn’t the only parent to get a dose of the twins’ tongue lashing. Mady Gosselin condemned her dad Jon’s serial dating habit following his divorce. "Now I look back, I can see, 'Oh that wasn't a really good thing.' Like girlfriends. Lots of girlfriends. Like, maybe that wasn't so normal to have someone new, like, every week,” she said.
While the girls shot down accusations that they’re “damaged” from their reality TV days ("Here's the big news: we're not messed up,” Mady said), they did eventually come to their mother’s defense.
"Honestly? Our mom is the best," Cara said. "She wants us to have everything and she fights for that, and I love her for it."
And Mady added, "My mom is fantastic. She's a better parent than anyone realizes."
Jon Gosselin may beg to differ. Last month he called out his ex-wife for publicly documenting his children’s lives, telling Philadelphia magazine, “She tweets everything. To the world, all about my children. I think it’s disgusting and awful. They can’t even have a normal life.”
