Kate Gosselin made everyone feel awkward on Thursday morning. It didn't matter if the viewers lived in Orlando or Los Angeles, the impulse to change the channel had everyone rushing for the TV remote. The reality star had her 13-year-old twins Cara and Mady on Today show to talk about the status of the family. While that sounds interesting, the problem was the kids wouldn't talk. The former star of Jon & Kate + Eight had to do almost all the talking for the status of her family. And the twins? Well they looked embarrassed.
“They get really frustrated that people assume certain things in our house and they always say, ‘But that’s not how it is, mommy. Why do they say that about us?’” said Kate Gosselin on the Today show trying to set up a question so one of the kids would say sometime. Unfortunately, it was Kate who did most of the talking and the viewers felt very uncomfortable.
It was an odd set of circumstance that had fans wondering what had the kids tongues tied. The young ladies are very familiar with cameras, but it appeared that they couldn't share many thoughts about the situation. Looking at their mom, it seemed to be a forced interview.
Both Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin have been in front of the cameras selling their new images to the viewers this week. Jon Gosselin was on the Wendy Williams Show suggesting the kids where talking for their mom on Tuesday. Now Kate comes on the Today show with the kids to suggest that the kids want a reality show again. Before both of the Gosselin's hit television, the twins covered People magazine.
The viewers can only hope the family considers talking to each other privately at some point soon. This awkward moment proves the Gosselin's aren't relevant in reality TV anymore, but they have still have some issues to work out.
