Kate Gosselin is going to have parents around the country shocked when the reality star reveals how she punishes her kids. It appears she deliberately gave her children expensive gifts so she could take the presents away to remind the kids who is boss. The star of the popular “Kate Plus 8” reality show is back for a TLC special to update the fans about her family. According to The Stir on Wednesday, Kate Gosselin shares a twisted trick for disciplining kids and there is no doubt it develops a lack of trust between parent and child.
While the fans have only seen the sneak peek of “Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10,” it is already creating a stir online with reality show fans. Apparently Kate Gosselin decided that she wanted to have control over her kids so she went out and bought top of the line technology gadgets for her kids. Sharing with the camera the reasoning for this, she offered up the explanation that she purchased the products just so she could take them away.
“I got those girls cellphones and iPads, so I could take them away…I've learned I'm not the only parent of teens who has discovered that little gem,” says Kate Gosselin in the video sneak peek offering a glimpse of the upcoming reality show special.
Looking into the camera, there is no doubt the reality star is being sincere in her explanation. It makes people really wonder if that is a good way to teach a child to act or if it suggests that someone has an authority complex.
According to Hollywood Life on Wednesday upcoming special is two parts and chronicles Kate’s sextuplets turning 10. There appears to be quite a bit of complaining too. Just in the video snippet highlighting the show, Kate repeatedly suggests she is not having a good time, reminds everyone the children test her patience and questions why they don’t always follow her directions.
This isn't the first time the fans have seen the Gosselin kids on television. Some of the kids were previously on the “Today” show talking about life. However, this seems much different as it appears that the special from TLC won’t have Jon Gosselin and the jump in time showcases a different family dynamic that might not be as favorable as seen in the past.
“Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10” airs June 25, on TLC.
