Well, we finally know what it takes to get Kate Gosselin to finally remove her wedding rings -- money.
Kate in the past has said that she was not going to take off her wedding rings until the divorce from husband Jon Gosselin was finalized, because it was upsetting to her kids. But that seems to have changed now that Jon has shut down her gravy train Jon and Kate Plus 8, as well as reportedly draining their joint bank account to the tune of $230,000. When asked by Meredith Vieira on the Today show if she was still wearing her wedding ring, Kate said:
Um, it's a different... it's my Hawaii wedding ring. I'm changing them out, I'm switching them out now.
She said she's in the process of buying a new ring (that is, when her bank account has some money back in it), that will have 8 diamonds representing each of her children, along with mother of pearl. As it's "symbolic," apparently the kids approve.

I would think the kids could CARE LESS about whether or not she wears a ring. She always tries to justify stuff based on her kids. The kids don't care, they just care that their parents are fighting and things are falling apart.
