Divorced mom of 8 Kate Gosselin, who covers the new issue of People,
is being hailed as a 'complete role model as a mom' by Tony Dovolani,

Reality star Kate Gosselin is earning high praise from Tony Dovolani, her partner on Dancing with the Stars.
Gosselin, 34, and Dovolani, 36, have been practicing around the clock for season 10 of DWTS, where Kate will compete against Pamela Anderson, ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, among others.
'FACING ALL MY FEARS'
"I am all about new challenges, facing my fears," Gosselin, a divorced mother of eight, tells People. "This is the hugest fear ever because I've never danced in my life."
Kate says working with Dovolani has boosted her self-confidence.
"He's a great teacher," says Gosselin. "He's very good at explaining what I need to do."
'SHE'S A TRUE ROLE MODEL'
Meanwhile, Tony has nothing but praise for Kate.
"She's just a complete role model as a mom," says Dovolani. "She's the working mom, takes care of the family, comes into rehearsal completely focused, knows how important this is to be a great example to her kids, and that's exactly the attitude that she's taken on." KATE TO DEBUT NEW HAIRDO
Gosselin is set to rock a new hairstyle for her debut on Dancing with the Stars.
In January, Kate made headlines when she showed off her sexy, long blonde hair extensions after finalizing her divorce from Jon Gosselin.
The extensions, which cost $7,000, took almost 20 hours of work by New York hairstylist Ted Gibson.
For DWTS, Kate has taken out her long extensions and had shorter ones put in, in multiple shades of blonde.
“We’re actually doing three different shades of blonde: a caramel, a beige blonde and a little bit of a lighter blonde,” Gibson has said.
DWTS WEIGHT-LOSS PLAN
Gosselin, who has been photographed out on the town in NYC this week, looks as if she has already lost some weight from the intense daily dance rehearsals of the past two weeks.
Not surprisingly, most of the celebs who participate on DWTS lose weight over the course of the competition, such as Kelly Osbourne. Kate, who already works out an hour every day, will get in even better shape as she preps for the show.
The two-hour season premiere of Dancing with the Stars airs March 22 on ABC.

Tony will do and say anything not to get he and Kate booted off the first week.
Kate Gosselin is a role model mother for those sick women who use their children to their own gain. She has no concern for her children. She treated her ex-husband like her puppy dog. She is a neat freak. I really dislike this woman and will be happy to see her off of the TV screen. She is nothing more than a pimp. She pimps children. And BTW, hate her hair and hope she trips on Dancing with the Stars. I HATE KATE.
She will do anything to get on TV. I think she had it planned from delivery, and it started this horrible fad of idiot people with a dozen kids doing a reality show. It is just really disgusting. It is the exploitation of children. And we all have Kate to thank.
If kate is a role model for a mom, than what is people who (1) don't have kids in litters and (2) aren't parading around in $7,000 wigs trying to get on tv and magazine covers any way she can. Anyone who has seen her on her now cancelled reality show knows what a total b--ch she is. Jon is no better but I feel sorry for him for the cr.ap he put up with all those years. Kate a role model? What a joke for the rest of us moms who actuallyt stay home and take care of our children.

Kate says criticism "destroys" her. She is referring to her phony mental picture of herself. Narcissism is self-love. Narcissists love themselves, but the dumb saps don’t know what to THINK about themselves. So, they have a "special" way of regulating their self-esteem and self-worth. Their whole life's behavior is aimed at attracting attention to themselves. To elicit constant interest, they project to others a False Self designed to impress others and compensate for the narcissist's inadequacies. By harvesting reactions to the False Self, the narcissist can cherry-pick pleasurable tidbits of attention. Narcissists embed this false-positive data about themselves into a totally biased self-image. It is her inflated self-image to which Kate refers when she says she is "destroyed" by criticism. When her fans complain about "hate", they are confirming Kate's love affair with herself.
Agree with the commenters who are calling Kate out on her press-whoring ways and narcissism. She's a horrible role model for women, for mothers and for kids. I feel very sorry for her children, who desperately need a mom's love and attention but theirs is too busy cavorting around the city with married men and posing for paparazzi.
A role model mom? That the best joke i've heard in a long time. After what she and her then-husband allowed their kids to be subjected to for years, she certainly has no place in ever claiming to be much of a mom. No normal upbringing for those kids who will be forever scarred by the publicity brought on by their totally self-centered money grubbing parents.
Hope Kate wins DWTS! Who knows how involved she is with the kids. She has to earn money somehow. Everyone has nannies & stuff for their kids now a days.
This ball breaking bitch, needs to go back to nursing and stop trying to be a "STAR". She is not in any aspect.a "STAR". TLC pays her bills, but what is she going to do when it stops?
She is has mental issues, and it is showen right on the show.. The best thing for her is to pay for inpatient mental issues. She has damaged her kids, and it is for the future. God Help the kids!!!!
