Kate Gosselin has always had a soft spot for animals, so when she had the opportunity to join the Irwin family in Australia, she jumped at the chance.
Gosselin decided to take the trip down under because she wanted to help honor the late great crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, who passed away in 2006 after a sting ray spine pierced through his chest while Irwin was snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef.
The 'Kate Plus 8' star took a trip to the Australia zoo, where she spent the day with the Irwin family and had a chance to cozy up to an adorable Koala Bear. This is not Kate’s first time visiting this zoo, she was there with her children in January of this year, where they got to watch a special performance from Irwin’s family.
