Kate Gosselin can't get enough of TV appearances
Kate Gosselin seems intent on making her case on television, as she rolls out the publicity truck and attempts to get her face on every television show possible. First she appeared on the Today Show, where her weepy performance attempted to garner some sympathy. Next she went on Live with Regis & Kelly and appeared shocked and awed when Regis mentioned the idea of her and Jon getting back together. Now word comes that she'll be interviewed on Larry King Live Tuesday night.
So far the interviews seem to have a common theme -- how Jon royally screwed up their marriage. Oh, and of course that everything she does, including her "job," is "for the kids." Surely she'll lead King down the same line of questioning and reveal how much Jon has "changed."
A source for Radaronline.com tells the gossip site that this is indeed all part of a Kate Gosselin positive PR plan, saying:
Kate felt that there were a lot of stories out there that painted an inaccurate picture of what was going on her life. Now she has an opportunity to set the record straight. Kate has always taken the high road in this thing. She doesn’t talk about Jon or bad mouth him at all. Kate mostly talks about her own feelings or emotions. That’s all. And she’ll continue to do this.
And since ratings for Jon and Kate Plus 8 are sinking faster than Jonah Hill in a kiddie pool, the extra television face time can't hurt.
But how come Kate gets to trot herself all over TV for interviews, but TLC seems to be muzzling Jon? It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that Kate doesn't appear to be out to sleep with anything with a pulse, could it?

Since the "ladies" who frequent the GWOP blog have decided to flood the Larry King website with emails against Kate, I took pleasure in sending them a link to their bitchy little blog. Now at least they'll know who is spamming their poll, among other things. :)
Jasmine, don't you think you're investing a little too much in this? You need to take a step back. It's just a television show.

Do I roam the net looking for these "ladies" from GWOP and rant about them here, there and everywhere? No. I'm not an obsessed fan. I like the show. I'm not "IN LOVE" with it. I don't love or hate Kate, either. I've never met the woman. I doubt you have, either. So neither of us can say what kind of woman she is when the cameras are off. I'm sure a lot of the show is scripted, so we don't even know what kind of woman she is when the cameras are rolling. Even though I love watching the kids, I'm not going to be watching much of it lately, and it's not even because of the Jon and Kate divorce drama. It's because I don't want to be associated with the obsessed fans. It's just weird.

I don't watch the Jon and Kate TV show but I like to keep up with news on the blogs. Kate continues to make a fool of herself by going all across the country, trying to make people feel sorry for her and complaining about her lack of privacy.If she wanted privacy, she woudd quit her ridiculous TV show and quit thinking of excuses to go on any TV interview she can get. She has proven herself to be a liar, continuing to try any new scheme she can think of to get more publicity and more money. Boo hoo Kate - try to cry your fake tears - no sane person feels sorry for poor little rich girl. We can see right through you - your're not fooling anyone!!!!! Go away!!!!!!
So why did she go on LKL anyway? She didn't say anything new or interesting. She wouldn't answer the questions. This interview was worthless but what else could it be given the subject being interviewed.
She's not stupid. It's called Free Publicity. Do you know how much an hour long commercial would COST? Shoooooooooot...they pay HER to run her ads? Good business sense.

There is no proof that TLC has put a muzzle on Jon. Probably just another of Jon's lies to cover up the fact that he didn't want to face Kate 2.0 because Kate Major was certainly ready to put Jon on the spot and make him tell the truth.

I think Kate is trying to earn a living for herself and the kids. Jon sure won't get that "9 to 5" job he says he wants.
That's right. Kate is just a working girl.
I agree that Kate is just trying to earn money to support her kids. Supporting 8 kids is a lot of work. Kate is doing what is best for herself and the children.
Jon on the other hand is just pleasing Jon and the heck with everyone else.
