Reality star Kate Gosselin is headed back to TV. The mom of eight and her kids will return to TLC for a one-hour TV special, according to a March 18 report by People. The special will update viewers on the single mom and her children Mady, Cara, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel.
The family’s reality show was canceled in 2011, but Kate and her kids have popped up on the small screen several times since then.
Last year, the clan – minus Kate’s ex, Jon Gosselin – appeared on ABC’s “Celebrity Wife Swap,” where Kendra Wilkinson took over as temporary mom for the reality TV family. And earlier this year, Kate and her oldest daughters Mady and Cara appeared on "The View" and “The Today Show,” where the 13-year-old twins clammed up during a live segment with Savannah Guthrie, prompting their annoyed mom to say, “Use your words … spit it out!”
Mama Gosselin has also signed on to the upcoming season of “Celebrity Apprentice.” According to Us Weekly, the new cast of the Donald Trump reality show will also feature Brandi Glanville, Kenya Moore, Geraldo Rivera , Keshia Knight Pulliam, Ludacris, Vivica A. Fox, Shawn Johnson, Lorenzo Lamas, Ian Ziering, and Gabrielle Reece.
Following the announcement of the TLC update special, Gosselin tweeted an ecstatic message to her fans: “Hope you're Happy!” she wrote. “ We sure are! Hope the good news made you smile....I love making you guys happy! #Excited @TLC #Cantwait.”
