Kate Gosselin confirmed she's getting a new TLC show during an interview this morning with Meredith Vieira on the Today show.
The new show was first brought up by TLC president Eileen O'Neill, as she was defending the network when Jon Gosselin filed a motion to "cease and desist" production of their reality show, Jon and Kate Plus 8. Plans are to debut the show in 2010. O'Neill added, "I think there's an opportunity for Kate beyond her role as a supermom to explore her other interests."
Kate didn't reveal any of the details as it seems the show is in the "drawing board" stage and being put together, but she did say it was "uncharted territory" for her. She's also extremely happy for the opportunity, since it will give her the ability to be the sole provider for her children. Probably a good thing, since Kate's bank account was supposedly wiped out by Jon.
Speaking of the kids, Kate did say that this is her show alone, and the children would not be a part of it. Let's see how long that lasts if the show doesn't pull in ratings.

At least Kate is trying to keep it together and support her children. I hope she prevails. As for Jon, he lies at every turn, and if the situation were reversed at it were Jon plus 8, he would be singing another tune. I do not believe he has the childrens best interest at heart or he would not be so eager to admit he was seeing another woman while married to their mother. He readily admits to seeing one woman in particular for several months! I wonder how he thinks that affects his children with him being unfaithful for so long?
Kate is a manipulative greedy witch. Too much makeup and how many procedures have you had Kate. You still look frump and dumpy to me. Ans she is still trailer trash.
