Kate Gosselin is being bullied. The former reality star opened up about the battle she faces on a regular basis -- even as an adult -- with people ganging up on her, saying mean things to her, and even attacking her fans. On Feb. 9, Us Weekly reported that the mom of 8 recently opened up about being bullied and how she deals with the "haters."
"I've been bullied. A lot," she begins the post. "I was definitely bullied back then [during middle school]... but the bullying didn't stop there for me and with a quick sweep of the Internet, it's clear that this epidemic is alive and well like a disease with no cure! It's a horrible disease that haunts me and many many many others in our world!" Kate wrote in a recent blog post.
Kate Gosselin is now bullied on social networking sites such as Twitter. Not only do people attack her for her "bad parenting," people continually badger her for every single thing she says. If you follow Kate on Twitter -- and ever send her tweets -- you too have probably fallen victim to the people who hide behind their computer screens and say some of the meanest, most hurtful things they can think of. Kate has been dealing with this for years -- but she uses the negativity as motivation.
"I use my haters as my motivators. If they say I can't do it, rest assured I WILL do it. And I won't stop until I've succeeded in achieving any given goal. With all I've been through, one thing I know about myself is that my persistence is hard to stop! I think of myself as the energized bunny," she continued. "I keep going and going and going!" Kate wrote.
Kate Gosselin realizes now that being bullied is part of life. It is unfortunate and it's not fun, but she spins it in to a positive and by speaking out about it, she is helping others deal with the very sad reality that some people have nothing better to do.
