About 50 to 75 people attended the wedding at The Ranch at Rock Creek. Us Weekly reports that "the ceremony took place on a mountain top, with the new bride arriving in a stage coach being pulled by two horses. The couple also read their own vows. [Bosworth] wore two custom dresses by Oscar de la Renta; a traditional ivory strapless ball gown with a 16-foot-wide train and a floral embroidered tulle dress for the reception. She also wore her hair up and pulled away from her face. Polish and his groomsmen wore custom Brooks Brothers tuxes. Guests of the newlweds were given Polaroid cameras, and were asked to post photos on a board in the main lodge that said, 'Love is...'"
Bosworth (who is 30) and Polish (who is 42) got together in 2011 while working on the dramatic movie "Big Sur" (based on the Jack Kerouac novel), which premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. "Big Sur" is set for release in U.S. theaters on Nov. 1, 2013. Polish directed and wrote the "Big Sur" screenplay. Bosworth's co-stars in the movie include Stana Katic, Radha Mitchell, Josh Lucas, Henry Thomas and Anthony Edwards.
Polish and Bosworth also worked together on the movie thriller "Unconscious" (formerly titled "Rememory"), whose cast also includes Wes Bentley and Olivia Rose Keegan. The release date is to be announced for "Unconscious," which is directed and co-written by Polish.
In the September 2013 issue of InStyle U.K., Bosworth commented about her relationship with Polish: "I never even dated my husband-to-be. He said to me after just a few weeks, before we were even together, 'I'm going to marry you.' He just knew."
Before dating Polish, Bosworth dated actors Alexander Skarsgård (who co-starred with her in the 2011 remake of "Straw Dogs") and Orlando Bloom.
