But - For this moment in time - Kate Beckinsale basks in the glory of taking home the title of Esquire Magazine's 'Sexiest Woman Alive'.

For the girl who captured the hearts of Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett in Pearl Harbor, Esquire brings you exclusive interviews and video with the 36-year-old actress strips down to nearly nothing for the shoot with the mag and tells them her personal list of do's and don'ts.

"I do eat meat, I don't smoke, I don't really drink, I do sing," she says in the Esquire interview.

Of her newly-adorned title, Kate jokes that she has to earn it.

"I like the idea of it," Kate suggests. "I do. I'm feeling that I must earn this. I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something."

Take it easy, Kate. Not everyone can be named Esquire's 'Sexiest Woman Alive' but not everyone can just hop on a pole for instant sex appeal either.
