The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went on a romantic babymoon recently, but now it seems an Italian magazine plans to publish Kate baby bump photos that a photographer managed to take while they were on the trip. The photos are said to be of Catherine Middleton in a bikini, which of course then shows her baby bump, and the Italian magazine Chi plans to publish them. The Guardian shared the details on Feb. 12.
Several magazines, including Chi, published topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge last fall. Now Chi plans to publish the Kate baby bump photos from her recent trip with Prince William and her parents in Mustique. At this time it is unclear whether the photographer was on a boat offshore or on the island where the Duke and Duchess were vacationing.
As is typical, the British press will not be publishing the photos. Of course these photos are much different than those from last fall, as these show her in a bikini rather than topless. However, the royal family is quite protective of the pregnant duchess, and they are said to be outraged over the planned publishing of the Kate baby bump photos. A royal spokesperson believes the publication of the photos is a “clear breach of the couple's right to privacy.”
The Kate baby bump photos are said to show the Duchess walking in the surf alongside her husband, Prince William. It is unknown whether any other publications plan to run the photos at this time, or whether Chi may end up backing down from their publication plans.
People will be quite curious to see them, but many think it may be time to back off a bit from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during the pregnancy. One can only imagine how things will be once their baby has been born if things get this wild over simply Kate's baby bump photos.
