Kate's baby bump photos are about to hit the public thanks to CHI, the same Italian magazine that ran topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge in September 2012. Yahoo TV! reports, on Feb. 12, 2013, the 31-year-old Kate is shown, during a romantic getaway to Mustique with Prince William, wearing a blue bikini and wading through the water. Her baby bump, although small, clearly shown.
The photos are much more of a revelation than the photo of the Duchess in West London earlier this month. In that photo, Kate was photographed in an "oversize, tartan-print cape." Her hair was in a ponytail, and she was wearing black leggings, riding boots and a black scarf.
The new photos of a pregnant Kate hit the public on Feb. 13. According to a source, "It's been a real sour note for the end of their trip. For Catherine, it was the first time she had shown her baby bump, and so for it to be exposed so quickly has shaken her up a little. They thought with the privacy laws on the island they would be able to spend a moment outside of the house without this happening."
Since this is the second time the Duchess is shown in a way that she would have liked to have kept private, one wonders why the couple would assume they were protected, despite the "privacy laws." A couple as famous as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge means a hefty price tag for any paparazzo who snags a photo. Business Insider reported, on April 18, 2012, the paparazzi can earn as much as $250,000 for photos of Kate Middleton. Will St. James's Palace take legal action against CHI?
