Kate baby bump photos breach Prince William and Catherine's 'right to privacy' (Video)

News that Kate Middleton’s bare baby bump photos were published by an Italian gossip magazine hit fever pitch on Nov. 12. In response to this allegedly unfair situation, an angry royal family spoke out against what they consider an invasion of privacy.

According to The Guardian, the St James’s Palace spokesperson stated, "We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas."

By way of background, the magazine in the spotlight is Chi, the same publication that ran photos of the Duchess of Cambridge last fall when she was sunbathing topless in the privacy of an estate in France.

This occurred when a photographer went snooping behind bushes in order to capture Kate Middleton while she was lying next to the borrowed manse's outdoor swimming pool with her husband, Prince Charles, as her only companion.

That situation shocked the royal family, who spoke up so strongly and in such a lasting way that their words of warning were heard by British publications.

In response to this most recent appearance in the Italian magazine, all of the UK's news sources are said to be foregoing the publication of the new bare baby bump pictures that were taken while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were on vacation in the Caribbean. They are doing this out of respect for the monarchy.

That said, the Duchess of Cambridge has not been seen in public very often since getting pregnant but the 31-year-old is reportedly about to make her second public appearance in an official capacity on Feb. 19.

At this time, she is scheduled to visit a London treatment center called Action on Addiction that helps recovering woman addicts in their quest to stay clean. It is likely that by the time Kate goes to this residential facility, she will look very pregnant.

In fact, Kate Middleton is due to give birth in July, the same month that Kim Kardashian is reportedly going to have her baby on this side of the pond.
