New Kate baby bump photos are set to be published in an upcoming issue of "Chi Magazine." On Feb. 12, Us Weekly reported that the magazine snagged pictures of Kate Middleton in a bikini while on her "babymoon" with husband, Prince William. The photos are the very first ones of Kate's growing belly. While many are curious to see the pictures, "Chi Magazine" may be facing a legal battle with the palace.
"It's been a real sour note for the end of their trip. For Catherine, it was the first time she had shown her baby bump, and so for it to be exposed so quickly has shaken her up a little. They thought with the privacy laws on the island they would be able to spend a moment outside of the house without this happening," an insider said.
Kate's baby bump photos might be exciting to some people -- and the magazine undoubtedly believes that they have struck gold, but the palace isn't thrilled about this breach of privacy. Middleton has been very careful about her outfit choices and she's been doing a great job hiding her midsection since her pregnancy was announced. Soon enough Kate won't be able to hide her tummy, but, for now, she wants to.
Kate Middleton and Prince William spent a few days on the island on Mustique. They believed that they would be granted privacy, but that wasn't the case. It is unknown whether or not the royal couple saw paparazzi while on vacation.
The Kate baby bump photos will likely be all over the internet tomorrow. "Chi Magazine" is the same publication that published nude photos of Kate last year.
