As the 2012 Calendar year came to a close, so too came the realization that then ex-lovers Rihanna and Chris Brown were growing closer by the week.
It all first started in early October, as Rihanna and Brown were spotted together at various locations in New York, including night clubs and inside of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for a Jay-Z concert.
The reconnection continued during Brown’s “Carpe Diem” tour overseas all the way up until Christmas day, where the two stars were seen sitting courtside as the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the New York Knicks inside of the Staples Center.
And while Rihanna and Brown appear to be more official by the minute, there appears to be no hard feelings coming from the “Fortune” singer’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
According to a report from HollywoodLife.com on Thursday, Jan. 3, the aspiring model still has strong feelings for Brown yet won’t try to hold on to something that isn’t there.
“Chris is always going to be somebody she loves and cares about,” a source close to Karrueche claimed. “At the end of the day, they still have a connection and they still tied up in their own way.
“If he’s in love with the other girl, so be it,” added the insider. “Kae isn’t desperate at all. That’s not how she rolls and that’s not [a] good look for her or any woman for that matter.”
While Karrueche often remained in Brown’s life as his whirlwind romance with Rihanna continued, she apparently seems grateful for the slice of fame she garnered through being with him.
“No shade, but he hooked her up with a lot and put her on the map with her fashions and for the most part he came correct to her and was honest and never lied,” stated the source. “So for that, he ain’t all that bad.”
