Karrin Allyson kicks off Walnut Creek jazz series

East Bay fans will be happy to know that the Jazz in Walnut Creek series is returning for a third year to the Lesher Center for the Arts.
The Diablo Regional Arts Association launched the series in 2012 and scored an immediate hit. It’s not hard to see why – the artists are all top names in the genre, the venue is the intimate 300-seat Margaret Lesher Theatre and you have the choice of a 5 p.m. or 8 p.m. performance. Works out either way with getting a bite or a beer or perhaps even doing a bit of shopping in happening downtown Walnut Creek.
And the price is right, with a four-concert subscription running $125. Some single tickets at $40 a throw might become available later but now is the time to order your series subscription.

July 12: Karrin Allyson
August 9: John Pizzarelli
August 16: Clayton Brothers
August 23: Roy Hargrove
