Karma finally caught up with former Vice-President Dick Cheney at the 70th Annual One Shot Antelope Hunt in Landon, Wyoming when his gun malfunctioned and failed to fire during the competition.
Cheney was on The Wyoming Team with Governor Matt Mead and Tim Gist, both of whom hit their targets. When Cheney's gun failed to fire, it triggered much mockery from other competitors who remembered another one of Cheney's gun malfunctions.
In 2006, the former Vice-President accidentally shot Texas trial lawyer Harry Whittington during a quail hunting trip and the incident became the topic of endless jokes. Meanwhile, Harry Whittington, who is now 86 years old, still has birdshot pellets lodged in his face and neck. It has been reported that Cheney never apologized for the accident. What a surprise considering what a ruthless and cold-hearted individual Cheney has been over the years!
It took approximately seven years but Karma finally caught up with former Vice-President Cheney at the One Shot Antelope Hunt. Perhaps The Grim Reaper will catch up with him on Halloween.
By the way, The Remington Team won First Place at the One Shot Antelope Hunt. Team members included George Kollitides, Walter McLallen, and Charles Conger.
