Karlie Redd is no longer infatuated with rapper Yung Joc and claims that he's not only a has been, but that he used her to "get on" via "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta." In an interview released Thursday, May 8, the recording artist went on to say that it's a shame.
"I feel used. I mean he's a has been and I'm in a movie with Chris Rock. I mean come on. I'm on Love & Hip Hop. It's a shame what people have to do these days to get on," Redd shared Thursday via The Hip Hop Enquirer.
As seen on episode two of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season three, Redd and Yung Joc were introduced as a couple. Things got off to a rocky start however when Redd caught Yung Joc and another woman interacting at a strip club.
Even with that said, all was seemingly forgiven when Yung Joc mentioned the prospect of a new house and them moving in together.
"He got me to give him a kiss because he said we were closing on a house in two weeks and he told me he loved me," Redd told VH1 in a confessional.
Despite what she told VH1 and an on screen scene with R&B singer Jeremih, Karlie Redd insists that viewers will see how their relationship plays out this season. She also says that Yung Joc was not forced to appear on the show with her.
"I'm bringing the opportunity. Did he bring me on or did I bring him on "Love & Hip Hop"?" said Redd. "He was at the first interview. I didn't even have to take him. He went by himself."
Do you believe Karlie Redd?
"Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on VH1.
