I'm very fortunate to be involved with SING! 2011. It's a pleasure working with the folks at DDR and Town Center Plaza, and I really appreciate all their support of my work. As a songwriter, there is no greater compliment or thrill than hearing another artist perform one of my songs. It's a real gift for me. I just hope I'm able to give each artist a little something back that helps them a little further down their creative road. - Kevin Briody

Kevin Briody's music is available on itunes and cdbaby.

Prizes

  • Vocal groups - $20,000 to their favorite charity, $5,000 in Developers Diversified Realty MasterCard Gift Cards and a once-in-a-lifetime experience with Emmy®-award-winning singer/songwriter Kevin Briody.
  • Soloists - $5,000 donation to a their favorite charity, $2,500 in Developers Diversified Realty MasterCard Gift Cards and a once-in-a-lifetime experience with Emmy®-award-winning singer/songwriter Kevin Briody.

“We really looked at different aspects of the grand prize. There's something in it for someone other than yourself – the charitable component. There's the reward for the groups and individuals – the gift card – as well as the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that's going to be tailored for the finalists. They may go into a recording studio with Kevin. He may work with them on songwriting. He will fly to wherever the group or soloist winner is and spend the day with them exploring whatever is of greatest interest to them. He really wants it to be all about them.” - Dawn Marie Lecklikner, vice president of shopping center marketing for DDR
