Hi there Chicago Fashion Trend readers! The CFTE here hopes all of you are having a lovely week and has some fabulous fashion finds to share with you! The CFTE just got wind of an AMAZING event that ALL of you MUST hit up right after work TODAY. Seriously, you don't want to miss this and what better way to cap off your day than with a little fashion?
So, a Macy's insider let the CFTE know that TODAY (Wednesday August 31) Macy's will be hosting a fashion presentation highlighting Lagerfeld's latest styles for Impulse! You can enjoy the show while you sip specialty Xante cocktails and enjoy tasty treats by Crumbs Bake Shop. Now, how does that sound for an end to your work day?
All of you readers first got a glimpse of the Impulse by Karl Lagerfeld collection from the Macy's Glamorama post. For those of you who didn't get a chance to read that piece. Check it out here. The line was delightfully feminine with Lagerfelds ever present edgy strength. The styles were very reminiscent of the 60's mod feel with clean shapes and black and white color blocking, but surprisingly, the shapes truly highlighted the female form through chic belting and sheer fabrication.
The Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse line is strictly limited-edition women’s apparel pieces and can only be found at Macy’s. The line will be sold in approximately 235 Macy’s stores nationwide and on macys.com beginning TODAY August 31. So, go check it out for yourself!
