Karl Lagerfeld brings Chanel Metiers D'Art collection to Dallas December 10

As if the world of Dallas fashion could not get any better for 2013, Karl Lagerfeld, the Chanel fashion icon himself is touching down in the Big "D" December 10, 2013 to put on one of the largest fashion events to hit Dallas since the exclusive Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit arrived to the Dallas Museum of Art back in November 2011.

The event is set to be held in one of the more historical parts of Dallas, Dallas Fair Park. While the public is invited to follow the event online and via Chanel's social media channels, this exclusive and A-list invitee extravaganza is by personal invite only--to whom one can only assume includes the top fashion industry experts and insiders on not only a national but an international level.

The Chanel Metiers D'Art collection has been showcased outside of the normal Chanel fashion schedule since 2002. This year, the ready-to-wear collection will feature designs by Lagerfeld himself, floral and feather arrangements by Lemarie', hats by Maison Michel, footwear by Massaro and gloves by Causse. Lagerfeld will also be revealing his new film titled "The Return" at the event which features Geraldine Chaplin as the one and only Gabrielle Chanel.

Lagerfeld, the head designer and creative director for Chanel, has outwardly expressed his affinity for the city of Dallas and why out of all of the fashion meccas housed within the United States, that Dallas would be the city to host such a magnificent event. It wouldn't be the first time that international designers and globally acclaimed fashion labels choose Dallas for exclusive trunk shows or presentations--it is ironically becoming a trend.

Chanel invites you to follow along on its journey through the city of Dallas as it is presented through the Metiers D'Art collection by following the event on Twitter #CHANELDALLAS. Mark your calendars and trek through the experience on December 10--it will be history in the making.
