Karen Gravano blogs about 'Mob Wives' episode on VH1 blog

On the latest episode of "Mob Wives" fans got to see a glimpse of how hard Staten Island was hit by Hurricane Sandy. On Feb. 12 Karen Gravano blogs on the VH1 website about Hurricane Sandy hitting their homes.

Karen says that while she may not like all the girls all the time, she still felt for them and the fact that they could have been hurt or lost their homes. As Big Ang pointed out in the episode, both Drita and Carla live close to the water and their houses flood and the power goes out when the weather gets bad.

Karen shares that when she was first told that Staten Island had to evacuate, she didn't believe it or take it seriously and she didn't go right away. Eventually she went to stay with a friend in midtown Manhattan She says she was beside herself while watching the news knowing that she could end up losing her apartment.

She says that it was completely horrible to see all the devastation that Hurricane Sandy caused and watching people try to salvage anything from their homes or businesses. Fans will be seeing more of the effects of Hurricane Sandy in the episodes to come.
