Karen Gillan video of her head being shaven for 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

According to Comic Book Movie on Sunday, "Doctor Who", "Selfie", and "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress Karen Gillan is seen online in a video of her head being shaven for the Nebula character in the James Gunn film. Last year she had worn a wig at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con and took it off to reveal what she had done so fans could see what was next in Gunn's movie making process.

Somehow the video has made its way online as the red-headed Inverness born Scottish actress shows what she's willing to do for an epic made film. Of course, the role in which she had played was Nebula, sister to Gamora and daughter of the Mad Titan Thanos. Compared to Gamora, it may be thought that Nebula would need a lack of follicles in order to improve or be aerodynamic in battles against formidable foes. Though it is up to speculation on whether or not she'll do it again for "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."

She is the former actress to the "Doctor Who" companion Amy Pond. She also appears currently on the ABC TV series "Selfie" as Eliza Dooley where she enlists a social media damage control expert to clean up her tarnished online viral reputation. Considering this series is par for the course with current social media situations, this show could indeed be an interesting series since a lot people in society tend to follow in the same wheelhouse as Gillan's Eliza character.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" is currently in theaters and has even surpassed "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" as the number one domestic box office hit of 2014.
