Karen Foley to speak on Crowd Funding food projects at The Fancy Food Show

If you are a food artisan and entrepreneur contemplating how to elevate your brand to the next level, plan on attending this year’s Specialty Food Show, beginning Sunday at The Moscone Center in San Francisco, Your questions will be answered.

Sonoma business woman, Karen Foley, CEO of Foodie Tout, Inc. will explain the benefits of crowd funding as a way to raise capital support funding, while building your brand and expanding your market. Foley, has been focused on the food Industry for the past 20 years as a restaurant owner, consultant and the force behind such brands as Tyler Florence and Good Housekeeping.
Foley will be joined on the panel by fellow industry experts Beverly Emerson, President of Olive Tree Product Development and Rick Andrade, a Los Angeles based investment banker focused on helping food and beverage companies.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for food entrepreneurs seeking advice on growing their company and building their brand. The timing is perfect as crowd funding is an emerging capital market with unlimited potential”, Foley said. “I am excited about sharing the stage with Beverly and Rick. Between the three of us we will outline various market opportunities for all those that attend.”

Foley is launching the Foodie Tout platform of products at the show. FoodieCrowdFunding.com is the flagship site and works in conjunction with Foodie5Star, a social media reputation management site design specifically with food companies in mind.

Aside from these sites, the entire Foodie Tout platform works on the premise that one site compliments the other and together they help in building capital support funding, building brands and expanding markets.

A question and answer period will be held at the end of the panel discussion.

The event will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. during the Winter Specialty Food Show, Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, Ca.
