Kardashian wedding: Why Rob Kardashian, Beyonce and Jay Z snubbed wedding?

The big Kardashian wedding in Florence, Italy is done and over as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are now man and wife. Amid all the wedding hoopla, there were a few important players in Kim and Kanye’s life that were absent from the nuptials, according to US Magazine on May 24.

Rob Kardashian, Kim’s only brother, was in Italy this week with the rest of the Kardashian clan, but he was keeping a low profile. Rob flew out of Italy and landed in L.A. just about at the time his sister was exchanging her vows with Kanye.

Rob gave no reason for not attending his sister’s wedding and he wasn’t seen around the city with his flamboyant family taking in the sights. Rob has been struggling with his weight and the rumors spinning online about him going to “fat-camp” appeared to hit his Achilles’ heel.

He recently blasted the rumors that he was attending a fat camp. Rob tweeted “"First, I don't believe in rehab or therapy or anything of that sort and second, I'm a grown man and will work on myself when I choose."

Why Rob got out of dodge before the wedding ceremony is a mystery. Two other people who weren’t in attendance of the Kardashian-West wedding were Beyonce and Jay Z. Kanye and Jay Z are best of friends so why didn’t they show up? According to Hollywood Life, they may have been trying to avoid another guest.

Rumor has it that Jay Z and Beyonce avoided the wedding because Kim Kardashian’s best friend Rachel Roy was attending. Jay Z and Rachel Roy flirting is what the fight in the elevator between Jay Z and his sister-in-law was rumored to be about.

Beyonce has never been one to buy into the Kardashian circus life-like antics. So it could be that all the hoopla over this wedding with the possibility of Kim having the festivities filmed for her show, might have also been a factor in their decision to stay away.
