Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner fears her daughter Kylie Jenner may become involved in Scientology because she’s dating Jaden Smith, according to “National Enquirer” on March 15.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star has been dating Jaden - who is the son of Will and Jada Smith - but Kris is reportedly concerned with the actor's family's ties to the Church of Scientology.
Sources say Kris initially approved of Kylie, 15, dating the "Karate Kid" star, 14, and was thrilled about the many business opportunities that would stem from the celebrity romance.
Kris now worries that Jaden may pique Kylie’s interest in the church which could in time “go after her money and try to control her career,” an insider tells the paper.
“They were going to be the new Kardashian ‘celebrity couple,’” says a source.
“Kris’ mind was going a mile a minute thinking about all of the business deals she could make in the teen market. But after pals alerted her to the Smith family’s attachment to Scientology, she started having second thoughts about the relationship.”
Will Smith has denied being a Scientologist but allegedly contributes to organizations affiliated with the group. Meanwhile, an insider insists Kris has nothing to worry about.
“Jaden’s a teenager,” a source says. “He’s way more concerned with sports, girls and dating than he is with Scientology.”
