Houston’s Karbach Brewing is about to expand its footprint ever further in its home state of Texas.

Karbach announced today, July 2 2014 that a distribution deal has been signed to bring Karbach beer to a larger percentage of the state and an increasingly demanding craft beer crowd. An agreement was inked between Karbach Brewing and Brown Distributing and as a result, an additional seven counties will now have packaged Karbach products in stores, taverns, and restaurants.

Laurie Brown, the Vice President of Distributing at her namesake business, is excited to add another craft beer label to the local area.

"Austin consumers are hungry for craft beer. This is a great local craft...the consumer wants [Karbach] and it's going to be huge for the market," said Brown in a press release statement.

Feelings are equally optimistic at Karbach Brewing and co- founder Blake Robertson sees new legions of satisfied customers.

"We are thrilled to be entering into this agreement with the folks at Brown. Their commitment to excellence in craft is evident in the accounts that we've visited over the past several months," said Robertson.

Brown Distributing Company has been around for more than five decades and is the Austin market leader in its field. The company’s roots can be traced back to 1962 when J. Dan Brown opened up for business with a fleet of three trucks, a staff of four employees, and a base of three customers. The company has grown exponentially and is now the leading business of its kind in the Austin market, employing more than 400 people.

Expect to find Karbach products such as Hopadillo, Weisse Versa, Rodeo Clown, and others in Central Texas starting on August 11, 2014.
