Karbach Brewing is quickly turning into a Houston hometown favorite and part of the reason for the upswing in popularity is the multitude of events the brewery sponsors on a consistent basis. This, the first full week of the New Year, brings with it two Karbach Brewing events sure to please the palate in more ways than one. Here is some background information:

Where: Starts at Flying Saucer in downtown Houston, 705 Main Street
Time: 6 p.m.
Karbach’s Brews Cruise is a monthly event not to be missed. This time around, it will begin at the Flying Saucer in downtown Houston and continue to Karbach Brewery. Stick it Food Truck will be ready to sell food before the ride begins and the plan is to stop at a few hot spots along the way before settling in at Karbach Brewing for some end of day refreshments.

Event: Tap Takeover
Where: Flying Saucer, 15929 City Walk, Sugar Land, TX
Time: 6 p.m.
The next in a series of tap takeovers, this one is scheduled for the Flying Saucer’s Sugar Land location. Karbach plans to serve up eleven different Karbach brews for your drinking pleasure, including some of the limited release products that are difficult to find. There will also be a souvenir glass available for purchase to commemorate the tap takeover event.
Set aside some time and take part in one or both Karbach events this week. And be sure to visit the Karbach web site and add Karbach to your Facebook likes list to keep updated on the latest happenings.
