Kanye West sweeps Grammy Rap category

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards were a dud if you’re a Hip-Hop fan. There was only one performance by a Hip-Hop artist (Nicki Minaj) and that performance was so “unique” that it embarrassed the entire culture.

On the award end of things Kanye West was not in attendance but walked with every Rap Grammy possible. The outspoken emcee was nominated for seven Grammys overall and won a total of four.

Kanye won Best Rap Album for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Best Rap Performance for his Jay-Z collaboration Otis, and All of the Lights picked up two Grammys for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
