Considering the outfits girlfriend Kim Kardashian often throws together, seeing Kanye West in a straitjacket in video from his concert last night really doesn't come as all that big of a shock. Factor in the ghost-like mask he wore with it, and you're just starting to scratch the surface of "we're at least paying attention".
The rapper and proud baby-daddy-to-be donned the eccentric, all-white ensemble for a performance at Du Arena in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. In addition to the rather-hilarious photos and video of Kanye West wearing a straitjacket (which are all the more funny when you consider just how seriously Ye takes himself, both on-stage and off) that came as a result from this week's Abu Dhabi show, Kanye's had quite a few other oddball fashion moments recently.
Let us not forget the designer Givenchey kilt Kanye wore to the Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert fundraiser not so long ago. (We understand 'fashion statements', but exactly what message was Yeezy trying to get across by wearing a man-skirt to a hurricane relief concert?)
Even more recently, Kanye started to dabble with the whole ski-mask look; first, switching between two different masks during the pre-New Year's concert in Atlantic City where he announced Kim Kardashian was pregnant, then choosing a scarlet-hued mask for dinner out in Paris with his future baby-mama.
