From the moment that the romance between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West became official last year, there seemed to be some awkwardness with a certain party connected to the music mogul.
West collaborates closely with fellow music pioneer Jay-Z. Turns out that Jay-Z’s wife Beyonce wasn’t too keen on Kanye’s relationship with Kardashian, at least according to the rumors.
The drama seemed to heighten this past September after Kardashian appeared to ruffle the feathers of Beyonce and Jay-Z after she seemed to hint that her younger brother Rob would be better off with a woman other than Rita Ora, whom he had been seeing at the time.
Ora is connected to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation record label and Beyonce likely wasn’t too happy about Kardashian’s implications.
However, now that Kardashian and West are expecting a child together, it seems like Beyonce’s stance towards the reality star may have changed.
According to a report from Bossip.com on Tuesday, Jan. 8, West recently took to her personal Twitter account, updating his nine-million plus followers with a throwback photo from last year’s BET Awards.
In the image West and Kardashian and be seen sitting next to Jay-Z and Beyonce. West had the word “FAM” attached to the picture, an obvious sign of how close all parties involved may now be with each other.
While it remains to be seen how Beyonce really feels about Kim, this seems to be a good step.
