Rapper Kanye West, father to Kim Kardashian’s baby, North West, is having trouble in his Yeezus Tour concerts. Several years ago, he would have rapped before a packed stadium, but now he can’t even fill half the seats. Such was his performance at Kansas City Spirit Center. Out of 19,000 seats, only 4,500 had someone sitting in them.
Kanye is supposed to be on tour, but he’s cancelled multiple concerts because of technical difficulties.
Radar Online reported that on November 30, during Kanye’s concert in Tampa, Fla., he threw a temper tantrum. He was only three songs into the concert when he demanded that they turn off the lights. He started swearing at his tech crew.
According to the Kansas City Star, "West almost certainly could have filled the Sprint Center five years ago. Tuesday’s poor attendance indicates how his scandalous love life, frequent impolite pronouncements, and his gradual shift away from conventional hip-hop have alienated many of his fans.”
One commenter on Slumz. wrote that Kanye did stop his show because a few lights were not working. Also according to the poster, the lights were fixed and the show restarted. As for Kanye's temper tantrum, the commenter explained that this was part of the show.
