Throughout his relationship with Kim Kardashian, it has been apparent just how smitten Kanye West is with her.
From referencing her in his rap songs to showing off photos of her on his personal Twitter, and dropping off lavish gifts around every corner, it’s obvious how highly Kanye thinks of Kim.
The fact that the couple announced they are expecting their first child together will likely bring them even closer.
However, when the moment comes that Kim will be giving birth, Kanye very well may not be around.
In an article by UrbanBelleMag.com on Wednesday, Jan. 30, as reported by Closer Magazine, a confidante of West’s opened up about a side of him many may not have known prior.
“He’s embarrassed about it, but Kanye has always fainted at the sight of blood,” said the insider. “And he feels very squeamish at the thought of watching the birth. The truth is, Kanye is scared he’ll just add to Kim’s anxiety during labor.
Make no mistake about it, West will be close when Kim gives birth, even if not right by her side.
“Emotionally, Kanye wants to be there for Kim throughout the labor, but he’s just not sure he’s up to it,” the source added. “He suggested he could stick to pacing outside the delivery room.”
We'll see, as Kim's expected birth date draws closer, if Kanye can work up the courage to be present at that time.
