Kanye West just says no to Kim Kardashian’s reality show

Kanye West won’t be joining the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” cast any time soon. On Feb. 22, Radar Online reported that the hip hop star thinks that appearing on his girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s E! reality show would be bad for his image.

A source says West may make a few brief cameos during the show’s eighth season, but he will stop short of appearing on the show regularly.

“He has made several brief appearances on the Kardashian reality shows, but wants nothing to do with future filming,” the source said. “Kanye’s team believes it’s bad for his image and brand to appear on a reality show because it makes him look cheap.”

Perhaps his attitude is swaying his baby mama’s opinion of her own reality TV career. In a recent interview with Dujour magazine, Kim confirmed that she will be quitting her family’s long-running reality show after next season.

She later clarified her statement to Celebuzz:

As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10. The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it … I’m looking forward to the new season and beyond. The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don’t know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I’m looking forward to continuing this journey.”

Philadelphia area fans can tune into season 8 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” starting in July on E!
