On Saturday, November 30, Kanye West was performing at his Tampa, Fla. concert when after only three songs; he threw a childish temper tantrum and stormed off stage. During his tantrum, he demanded in an expletive rant at his tech crew that they turn off the lights.
The Tampa Tribune is reporting that Kanye West was upset with the lighting scheme. He said that the lasers being shot out of the mountain “suck.” He also took his frustrations out on one of his tech crew named “Laura” who forgot to give him a “deep voice” on his microphone.
While Kanye West, 36, did return to the stage after a short break, he continued to subject the audience on various rants. One particularly nasty rant lasted over 14 minutes. According to the Tampa Tribune, “West went off on ‘nice, good, safe celebrities’ who hold their tongue out of fear, dreaming that he was Steve Jobs, the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison and Nelson Mandela, and the way both ‘haters’ and fans benefit him in the end.”
“How many people you know that you talk to on a day to day basis that made a mountain open up in Tampa tonight? So all the other things I’m talking about is it crazy or is it possible?”
