Kanye West may have gotten Kim Kardashian pregnant, knowing very well who she is and her status in the reality television world, but he isn’t too happy about his future baby carrying her name. According to a new Hollywood Life report released on Feb. 6, Kim Kardashian may have a battle when it comes to convincing her boyfriend Kanye about their future child’s last name. According to the report, Kim wants to continue the Kardashian name, even though West wants both Kim and the child to have his last name.
“Kanye is very disappointed and upset about the whole thing but Kim refuses to budge,” a source has revealed. “She also thinks it’s a way to let him know that she is not after him for his money.” One can imagine that Kim Kardashian and Kanye already have a couple of names picked out for their future child, even though they may not know the sex of the baby yet. However, it sounds like Kanye is firm in his decision about the last name. Surely, Kris Jenner is the person who is the most upset about this news.
This morning, Huffington Post writer Naughty Rob revealed an update to the story after talking to a source close to Kim Kardashian. “Friends VERY close to Kim Kardashian tell me she's isn't changing her name to WEST. But the baby will have his/her fathers last name,” Rob shared. It sounds like this baby will not become a part of the Kardashian empire, even though Kim is proud to be a Kardashian.
