The Kanye West Taylor Swift feud began when Kanye stomped all over Taylor's moment in the Grammys spotlight almost four years ago, but it appears time hasn't fully washed away the bad blood. At a show across the pond in London on Feb. 23, Kim Kardashian's baby-daddy-to-be let loose with a ten-minute-long onstage rant that you can check out below, and Taylor's name was once again brought up.
We'll recap the highlights and link to video of Yeezy's blow-up below the jump.
Yeezy half-rapped, half-spoke his thoughts in the expletive-laden rant in London linked here. Caution: this NSFW Kanye West rant video contains extremely graphic language not suitable for children or those easily offended by profanity.
Though unlucky-in-love pop darling Taylor Swift was mentioned in the rant, it didn't seem she was a main target this time around. As he ad-libbed over an instrumental of one of his tracks, "Clique", Kanye mostly seemed to be taking issue with the materialism and racism he said is prevalent in the entertainment industry and is "killing blacks". Kanye also went after artists who he feels have either sold out or sold him out.
At one point, Kanye asked, "Remind me again who’s the original super-fly? And I got love for Hov but I ain’t f---ing with that ‘Suit & Tie’." Besides seemingly bashing Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake for their "Suit & Tie" collaboration, Yeezy reiterated his personal feelings regarding Taylor Swift's value as an artist.
"Taylor Swift beat Beyoncé at the Grammys? Beyoncé be dancing in heels and s---," Kanye began, before trailing off and insulting the Recording Academy (the entity responsible for voting on and doling out Grammy Awards each year) in general.
So, will Yeezy's outburst reignite the so-called Kanye West Taylor Swift feud or will Taylor simply rise above the drama as she did the last time she unwittingly went head-to-head with one of rap's most egocentric artists? Will SNL call upon Justin Timberlake and his hilarious hosting abilities to make fun of Yeezy's latest tirade? Stay tuned...
