Kanye's crystal mask is making some fans ask, "Is that you, Lady Gaga?" Kanye West is never one to shy away from a fashion risk, and never was he more daring than at his Dec. 28, 2012 appearance at Revel in Atlantic City. The decidedly weird face piece was a crystal-encrusted Maison Martin Margiela mask. The crystals reflected the light in a way that perfectly matched his all-white ensemble, and the mask completely obliterated any view whatsoever of the rapper's famous face.
According to The Huffington Post, West also wore a feather-covered creation on his face at a different point during his performance, and that look also seemed like a perfect fit for Lady Gaga. Team Kanye Daily has the stunning pics here.
Although there's no official word on how much Kanye's crystal mask cost, it's perfectly apparent that it wasn't cheap. A quick look at Maison Martin Margiela fashions online shows that this designer has plenty of pieces costing $1,000 or more, and those items of apparel aren't encrusted with glittering crystals.
